I m very happy , my posts fetch knowledge for you,,
i will try to find n post about other great poets also,but as u knw i am from punjab,so my vision is not beyond my culture.i can post only for punjabi poets

what i am trying to say is,, it would be better if u or any other user would bring up the biographies of poets from their own culture,then we could share GEMS OF INDIA!!!!

Hey dude........well am a guju guy and i dont think some guju wud hav been poet or sumthing like that(may be there sum wud hav but i really dont know bou dem)...............ya if this cud hav of business man...i wud hav posted about many succeced guju business man......like as DHIRU BHAI AMBANI.........in order to share knowledge about GEMS OF INDIA.

Jadon meri arthi utha ke chalan ge
Mere yaar sab humm humma ke chalan ge

Chalan ge mere naal dushman ve mere
Eh vakhri hai gal muskura ke chalan ge

Rehian tan te liraan mere zindagi bhar
Par maran baad mainu sajjaa ke chalan ge

Jehnaa de main pairan ch rulda reha haan
Uh hathaan te mainu utha ke chalan ge

Mere yaar modda vattavan bahaane
Tere dar te sajda kara ke chalan ge

Bithayaa jenha nu main palkaan di chaavain
Ooh baldi hoi aag te bitha ke chalan ge

Rajju bhai jus letting u know ...... probably i know all d indian languages ........... but not so fluent wid all ......... other than Hindi, Sanskrit & various indian languages i am trying to learn Urdu

In your said poem i only did'nt understood the word "Vakhri" and Humm humma

vakri means Diffrent ,but here it means, in its own kind
humm humma means very happily

"jab bhi meri arthi ko utha kar chalen ge
mere dost sabb khushi khushi chalen ge

chalen ge mere sath dushmaan bhi mere
ek anokhi gaal par muskarahat ke sath chalen ge

mere tan(body) par zindagi bhara leraen thi
par marne ke baad mujhe sajja kar chalen ge

jinke kadmo mein main roula hu
woh apne hathon mein mujhe utha kar chalen ge

mere dost kandha dene ke bahaane
tumhare dar pe sajjda karwa ke chalen ge

jo meri palkon ke chaw talle baithe hain
woh mujhse jalti agg par baitha kar chalen ge

jab bhi meri arthi ko utha kar chalen ge
mere dost sabb khushi khushi chalen ge"

Rajbir bro ko meeting main jaana tha toh unke behalf par main translate kar reha hoon!!!

mainu tera shabaab lai baitha,
rang gora gulaab lai baitha.

dil da dar si kitay na lai baithay,
lai hi baitha janaab lai baitha.

vehal jad vi mili hai farazan ton,
taray mukh di kitaab lai baitha.

kini beeti tay kini baaki hai,
manoo eho hisaab lai baitha.

mainoo jad vi tusi ho yaad aay,
din dihaaray sharaab lai baitha.

shiv nu ik gam tay hi bharosa si,
gam ton koraa jawaab lai baitha

mainu tera shabaab ...........
