Farmer's Plight In and Around India

Grief so untold, I doubt its existence
But it has been there for years persistent
Tears unseen or overlooked?
I too want a life that a man can salute

Born poor. Is that my falut?
Yet subjected to all sorts of assault
Playing with clay, taught to plough
Nothing of education to show

Grown this way, you are not so wise
To detect the devils in disguise
Neither want a crown, nor ruby's sheen
Just want to keep my piece of land green

Lost my money, lost my land
To a system I cannot withstand
Dropped on my knees, I begged for a life
A chance to tell my son, what's right

Now, I have no other option,
But be defeated by curruption
Even after death, how can I rest in peace
Hoping again hope, my Son gets Justice..

Thanks Tosha.... for reading and for understanding...

As you said ... I didnt say that working in  fileld with clay and plough is bad or something...  If there is no rain? The farmer who's life depends on rain, what this farmer, who is unducated..will do for living for the rest of his life???
