Isn't it better that against all odds you tried?

Were you naive when you took things as implied?
Are devil and destiny two forces allied?

What about your strongest belief
Does it always have to end in grief?
Don't some memories always stay
Their content however brief?
Are all leaves on the tree of life equal
Or is there a greener leaf?
Should life always be led
Solely on popular belief?

What if you could throw away some memories
Would they be those which made you cry?
Or would you rather keep those (that made you cry)
And with them, live your life by?
