Very Nice Vir...This thread reminded me about one of my poem on parents, that i wrote long back but never posted before..so writing over here !!!

Maa baap ki duaaon me hi bachchon ki kaamyaabi hai
Unki duaaon ne hi har imtihaan ko aasaan banaya hai

Dekhna bhoole se bhi na dil dukh jaaye unka kabhi
Unko khush kar ke hi aulaad ne har khushi ko paya hai

Panv tale Jannat hai aur jannat ka bhi darr wahin
Khuda taala ne apne bandon se ye farmaaya hai

Ikhtilaaf hote hain aur generation gap naam dete hain
Par unke tajurbon ne hi har mushkil se hume bachaya hai

Baap ki shaffaqt ka nahin hai is dunya main mol koi
Maa ke aanchal main Khuda ne kaainat ko chupaya hai

Family is there for you in a jiffy.

Inquires about why you are looking bad or spiffy.

Loves you unconditionally.

And gives you advice typically.

Will defend you in a heartbeat.

And tell you what to do about your stinky feet.

May get on your nerves at times.

And even makes you laugh at stupid jokes sometimes.

With family you share a history.

The bonds you share are no mystery.

I promise I'll be there when you need me.

Because that is how family should be.
