EVENING

Striding through the strand,
with waves washing away.
Fading through the nimbus garlend,
the sun making an end of its sway.

The birds are upon their wings,
flying in flocks to their nest.
Running errand-as the twilight sings,
making a bed for the day to rest.

The moon enchants the azure sky,
twinkling stars are shining bright.
Westwind is breezing by,
and the sea is stepping up wirh its tide.

Chirping cricket is galore in green,
dusk is creeping from heaven to earth.
Silent,restful,the night is gleam,
as we await tomorrow's birth.
