My betrayal

As my eyes close I'm drifting away
Oh God,to you did i not daily pray
I never wished to go astray
Nor my beloved did I want to betray

To mislead men was she created
Her body was so exquisite,my desires were elated
And so my soul to doom was fated
Is it she or I whom should be hated?

But to her i was but just a toy
Her ravenous beauty,just a ploy
No wonder she was never coy
Nor could she care to remember,if my name was Jack,James or Roy

For my beloved's forgiveness did i ask
Yet in the glory of my betrayal did I bask
For punsihment did I beg,Not ask
It was now my beloved's time take me to task

In this pool of blood I now lay
My beloved's bullet from my heart did not stray
Why with her heart did I play?
Now for my sins i hefty price I pay
