dead heart

not all scars show
not all wounds heal
sometimes you cant always see
the pain someone feels

sometimes you don't realize
how much you care for another person
till they stop caring for you

how could the one I give my heart to
break it so bad?
I'm going to smile,
like nothings wrong.

talk like everything's perfect
act like its all a bad dream
and pretend its not hurting me.

my mind tells me to give up
but my heart says to never let go
I always smile when I see her face

a heart is not a play thing
a heart is not a toy
but if you want it broken
give it to a girl...NM
