Shattered Dreams

Saw the moon in the sky which was in its full beauty.
A smile crossed my face, eyes bright with joy.
The lashes went down my eyes as if trying to conceal the secret
Which I had in my eyes.
My heart singing and smiling as if sensing the presence of someone.
As if, was eager to hear something sweet close to my ear.
Few moments passed, my heart skipped a beat.
I opened my eyes wide in dismay and found myself in darkness around me.
My eyes flushed with tears, slowly rolling down my cheeks.
A sob aroused from the heart, echoed in the atmosphere breaking the silence.
Somebody remembered someone and was left all alone in the darkness where even the moon no longer witnessed her pain.
