I sometimes hear a whisper in the dark
that wakes me from my deep slumber
in the wee hours of the morning..
when all is quiet and my thoughts are mine..
that’s when you come rushing to my side
breaking the cold darkness of the night
with the clarity of truth in this false life.....................
