One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Ho gaye na khush............... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

WOW..........just AMAZING..........cant describe enuf!!!!

Thanks Isha, Meena & Suhas.............
I know very well that all of you have surely read this story many times, but I just wanted to recall you...............that....

We are never alone..In our times of sufferings we start thinking that we are the only one to face all that but believe me if you think that god is always there to accompany you.....you will get the power to face the hardest situations of your life with great ease (actually smiling).
I want to share something with you.........
Sometimes when I get tired with the struggles of Life, I go to the roof top of my house in evening, and discuss everything with god....and believe me I get the answers. After the discussion I feel fresh and ready for facing new struggles. All this might look absurd to you but it's the reality with me. Usual Smile

Isha.............Hamaari thinkings kaafi kuchh common hai Isiliye to mainey tumhe apna dost banaaya hai. Kisi forum mein maine dekha tha ki tum mere baare mein jaanana chahti ho. And suhas answered instead of me, well answer is still the same. I am a Software Engg. I have just joined as a Trainee after completing MCA.
Kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai ki hum sabhi dost bahut paas hain aur aapas mein baithey hue baatein kar rahein hain....................................I hope this dream will come true one day. Usual Smile

Ok Iss baar eik achha story mila hai...........

A little boy went into a drug store, reached for a soda carton and pulled it over to the telephone. He climbed onto the carton so that he could reach the buttons on the phone and proceeded to punch in seven digits.The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:

The boy asked, "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?" The woman replied, "I already have someone to cut my lawn."
"Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price of the person who cuts your lawn now." replied boy.
The woman responded that she was very satisfied with the person who was presently cutting her lawn.
The little boy found more perseverance and offered, "Lady, I'll even sweep your curb and your sidewalk, so on Sunday you will have the prettiest lawn in all of North Palm Beach, Florida."Again the woman answered in the negative. With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver.

The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy and said, "Son... I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."

The little boy replied, "No thanks, I was just checking my performance and the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady, I was talking to !"

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, “Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall in the river.”

The little girl said, “No, Dad, You hold my hand.”
“What’s the difference?” asked the puzzled father.

“There’s a big difference, “replied the little girl. “If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.”

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its blind, age, caste, or creed but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold urs…
