There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons  are up.If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral lesson:Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't  judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later

very nice story ISHAji.... sach bohat acha laga padh kar...
i wud like to share something to the readers relating to the same moral... quite inspirational but real... i had a lecture in our college few days before which help me widen my mind... may help u also...
its main content was NEVER SAY DIE..
an EAGLE.... what does it symbolise POWER STRENGTH... you know why...
an eagle can survive for 70yrs.. shocked yes it can survive for 70 long years...
till the age of 40 it is strong... but when it attains forty... it is a stage where it has to make a big decission in live to SURVIVE or GIVEUP N DIE...
at this age... its wings weaken...unable it to fly...
its beak grows and turn towards its chest... its nails weakens become soft and loosens...coz of which it cant catch a prrey....
at this time HE DECIDES TO STRUGGLE AND SURVIVE.. it moves to high areas like mountains to RENNOVATE totally..
it BREAKS IT OWN BEAK by hitting on rocks(JUST IMAGINE)... so that it can get a new beak it can catch its prey and survive... it struggles at these areas for about six mounth where it rennovates and get new wings and nails....
THEN ONLY IT CAN SURVIVE FOR 30 MORE YEARS..
quite amazing right....
if an eagle an animal/bird can do so much why do we humans GIVEUP!! infact we are more blessed by nature... isnt it??
this taught me how ever bad times may come we can stilll survive its not the ultimate end...
hope i got the message to u all right...
takecare Usual Smile

very nice story  isha ji and mehak ji

i want to share one story which may be already listened by great friends

three blind men was going on a road.suddenly they reached near an elephent.a person touched his trunk and said "oh it is a snake"

other touched his leg and said"you are such a foolish it is a tree"

third one touched his tail and said"you both are mad, cant u see it is a rope"

and they started querreling with each other because what they feel was real . they are also in doubt about what they feel but the problem was they had developed an idea   near to the truth

the moral of the story is the world is like as we feel it.truth is far away from us and we querral for the different paths to know the truth as blind persons.although we all knows that what we think may not be ultimate truth.

live ur life with full joy and happiness and dont let all the differences between us to disturb our life.there are very much knowledge unknown to us to reach the ultimate truth.do the things which creates and enhance pleasure in ours and others life.

jai manavta!

very nice story ranjeet bhai  & ishaji....... i m adding one.. dm... i got in mail... now a days....tongue3

A little girl & her father were crossing a flimsy bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart, plz hold my hand so that u don't fall into the river."
The little girl said, "No, Dad. U hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl. "If I hold ur hand & something happens to me, chances r that I may let ur hand go. But if u hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, u'll never let my hand go."
In any relationship, the essence of trust isn't in its bind , age, caste or creed but in its bond.
So hold the hand of the person whom u love rather than expecting them  to hold urs.......
