Silence

Silence, trickling silver spheres aggregating at my feet glistening, radiant, growing, and disturbed only by the ripples from the falling spheres.

Does a tree make a sound falling in the forest if there is no one there to here? I saw a tree fall today it didn't make a sound, it didn't touch the ground.

Burnt and blackened, leafless, lifeless, maybe it's falling still. I stood and watched, waited, still there was no sound, only color emanating from the ground, in anticipation of the coming impact. The ground browned and bare, anticipating the impact of the falling tree.  Is it still waiting?

Is there a tree falling somewhere in the forest? I watched a concert in the park today, musicians sitting in a circle, the soft green grass crushed beneath the legs of their chairs. Fingers eliciting emotive sensations from their instruments, Musical notes in a blaze of color, chase each other up and down the scale, to come together in commensurable forms. Like fairy lights dancing in the air.
 
Then down the path I went, I took the long way home, paused besides a sparkling lake, in admiration of the view. I watched the birds singing in the trees that circled the lake.
 
Their songs were full of color, red and greens, yellow and blue, and all the shades in between.  Silence isn't golden; it's full of color, just another way to hear.
 
I want to hear your name, or maybe watch it, taste it on my tongue, Silence.
