Andhiyara jhutlane nikhle

Unche log sayane nikhle
Mehlon mein tehkane nikhle

Vo toh meri hi gera mein tha
Mere galat nishane nikhle

Aahon ka andaz naya tha
Lekin zakham purane nikhle

Jinko pakda haat samajkar
Vo keval daastane nikhle..

Isliye toh sambal raha suraj

Kyu apahiz hua hai rishton-sa
Ladkhadakar jo chal raha suraj

Usko chedo na, aag uglega
Apne mein hi jal raha suraj

Dhund se ker chuka bhagawat vo
Aag muh se ugal raha suraj

Ab bhudape mein josh le karke
Parwaton ko hai chal raha suraj

Kya kayamat "Roja" ho berpa
Andheron se bahar nikal raha suraj

Khilne ki chah se hum phoolon ke pass aaye
Humko toh her chaman mein kante hi raas aaye

Khilte hai prath mein jo jharte hai raat mein kyu?
Humne toh her kali ke nagme udas paye

Na humraz koyi paya na saya kisi ka paya
Chehre sabhi they jhoote kore libaas paye

Kya soch ke chale they kya soch ke chalenge
Khoye sabhi ke humne hosh-o-hawas paye

Kehte hai zindagi hai mastibara tarana
Shayar sabhi jahan ke, humne nirash paye

Peete hai jam fir bhi rehte hai jo pareshan
Dard-e-jigar se poocho kitna tarash paye
