Tumhain yaad hogaa, ki, ham khwaab mein the?
Bahut kankhiyon se nihaaraa hai chhup-chhup!

Kahaan kab huyi ibtidah? Tum bataao?
Kabhi bekhudee ne ubaaraa hai chhup-chhup?

Agar yaad aaye, to, fir yaad rakhnaa;
Andheroun ne furqat mein maaraa hai chhup-chhup!

Kisee aik parwaaz par saath the ham?
