Teyrey bagair, aaj bhi aatee naheen hai neend!
Teyrey bagair, mujh ko sulaatee naheen hai neend!

So jaauungaa, to, uthh sakoongaa yom-e-hashra ko;
Teyrey bagair, kyounki, sataatee naheen hai neend!

Jaagoongaa! Jaagtaa hoon!! Jaagtaa rahaa hoon mein!!!
Aayegee kabhee? Ye bhi bataatee naheen hai neend!

Jab tum hi sun rahey naheen, to, kis sey kyaa kahoon?
Jaago! Suno! Tumhain kyun jagaatee naheen hai neend?

Aayee bahaar, khil uthhey gulaab har taraf ;
Khwaaboun mein bhi, naseeb khilaatee naheen hai neend!

Aatey naheen hain woh, to, ‘abd’, too hi lout aa!
Rahtee hai kahaan? Ye bhi bataatee naheen hai neend!

Subhan allah Abd sahab!! Aur shukriya celmira ji abd sahab ki peshkash jo miss ho gayi thi usko apne padne ka mauqa diya sub ko !! Allah khush rakhe subko !!
