A saint and a householder

Once a saint on the request of a householder went to his home to take his afternoon prasad (meal).......

After the lunch was over, the saint asked his devotee.......

Swami: Ghar mein Ramayan hay?

Devotee: Ji Maharaj, pari hay.......

Swami: Ghar mein Gita hay?

Devotee: Ji Maharaj, pari hay.......

Swami: Ek kaam karo.......unhe khara karo, para mat rehne do!

Moral: Its no use collecting the scriptures unless the person reads and follows them in his day to day life.......

(Imp Note: Some instructions require clarifications.......the scriptures should not be understood literary.......the reader might be wrong in his understanding of what has been written, as the words might have different import than what they suggest.......it would be more appropriate if the reader takes pain to read also, the commentary of a learned, experienced and an enlightened soul alongwith the original scriptures)
