There was a man who had a little boy that he loved very much. Everyday after work the man would come home and play with the little boy. He would always spend all of his extra time playing with the little boy.

One night, while the man was at work, he realized that he had extra work to do for the evening, and that he wouldn't be able to play with his little boy. But, he wanted to be able to give the boy something to keep him busy. So, looking around his office, he saw a magazine with a large map of the world on the cover. He got an idea. He removed the map, and then patiently tore it up into small pieces. Then he put all the pieces in his coat pocket.

When he got home, the little boy came running to him and was ready to play. The man explained that he had extra work to do and couldn't play just now, but he led the little boy into the dining room, and taking out all the pieces of the map, he spread them on the table. He explained that it was a map of the world, and that by the time he could put it back together, his extra work would be finished, and they could both play. Surely this would keep the child busy for hours, he thought.

About half an hour later the boy came to the man and said, "Okay, it's finished. Can we play now.?"

The man was surprised, saying, "That's impossible. Let's go see." And sure enough, there was the picture of the world, all put together, every piece in it's place.

The man said, "That's amazing ! How did you do that ?" The boy said, "It was simple. On the back of the page was a picture of a man. When I put the man together the whole world fell into place."

Everyone, learn to put inside quote marks what is not your own poetry, words, creation or art. It gives respect and credit due to the author in full view and it also gives you respect in another's eyes too. I also feel a part of the person's spirit lies in their said words, that is why the words have a voice that can be heard. I know I cannot change the world, but for myself I can always try and do the right thing to do. I also wanted to tell you, what seems beautiful has a lot of pain behind it, so please please give the author due credit! Thank you!  :!:

P.S. What I do is, if I feel the original author's words I know are exact then I put them under double quotes otherwise I put them under single quotes. And please, it doesn't matter if you're writing something in the Antakshiri or quotes etc. section, what is not yours, it goes in quote marks always. There is no margin for error here, it's fool-proof because you know what you wrote, I know what I wrote, and what is not mine is not mine I know and what is not yours is not yours, you know!

lekhak kithna sunder lekh likh gaya
dil ko ek haseen paigaam dei gaya
mujhey tasveer sei bhramaand ko samajhney ka
anaayaas he raaz batha gaya
dil chaahtha hei ek peigaam mein bhi doon
logon ko is nayei saal ka
kuch logon ko hotha hei aitraaz merey her tohfey per
phir kyun na khhuda ko he doon
mein tohfa nayei saal ka
per us khuda ko koi kya dei
sub kuch hei jis ka diya
phir sochthi hoon deney vaaley bhi tho
kabool karthey hein tohfa
maana nahin hei paas merey
vo haseen aur chamakthey nazaarey
per jis khhuda nein mujhey ithna diya
kyun na ban jaaun uskey liye mein swayam ek tohfa.

Wish you all a very happy new year here!

Thanks, both of you. You know what when I wrote the poem I just wrote it, it has no personal bearing. Like when I say, why don't I become a new year's gift to God, I really mean to say, why don't I become God's gift to the world. Some people might take my said line in an adverse way, but it's not meant to be that way. Just clarifying. I just wrote the poem, just like that, means nothing!
