ek tamanna jo sadiyon se adhoori thi
ek khwaish jo  arson se baaki thi
ek saathi jiska intezar tha
woh ek raath jo tum mere saath the
sab gum mere mit gaye
dil ke darwaze khul gaye
ek awaaz jo bahut gehri thi
kaanon mein goonj gayi
na woh raath ka sannata tha
na woh hawa ka jhoka tha
nahi woh ruke paani ki lehar thi
meri jo sooni aah thi
pal mein gehri udaasi bhari
woh aisi pyar bhari chingari thi
woh tere dil ki dhadkan thi
