ainak se baaNdh rakhii hai kyoN aap ne rasan
milataa hai kyaa isii se ye andaaz-e-fikr-o-fan
ham ne kahaa ki aisaa nahiiN hai janaab-e-man
baiThe jahaaN hasiiN hoN ek bazm-e-aam meiN
rakhate haiN ham nigaah ko apanii lagaam meiN

ainak : glasses
rasan: cord
andaaz-e-fikr-o-fan: the manner (mode, style) of reflection and art (poetry)
janaab-e-man: Dear Sir (here used for Dear madam)
bazm-e-aam: a common gathering]
