mahfil to jamti hai, maikhane me jaate nahi
thodi si pi le te hai, kasam hum khate nahi

koi muskura ke peeta hai, koi aansu baha ke peeta hai
hum to khud me mast rahte hai, dil ko jalate nahi

dunya me jo jeete hai, kuch na kuch to peete hai
hum to sher ban ke pete hai, kisi se ghabrate nahi

koi pee ke rote hai, koi pee ke hunste hai
hum to sab ki sunte hai, kuch batate nahi

koi maikhane me peeta hai, koi mahfil me peeta hai
hum to sar-e-aam peete hai, raaz chupate nahi

mahfil to jamti hai, maikhane hum jaate nahi

meri mahbooba mujhe maikhane se rokti hai
itna gazab dhati hai peene se rokti hai
main maikhana chor nahi sakta wo nahi maanti hai
peene ke bina ji nahi sakta wo nahi jaanti hai
yakeen nahi karti main us pe marta hu
sharaab to dawa hai apne zakhmo ko bharta hu
meri mahbooba mujhe jeene se rokti hai
itna gazab. ................................................. ...

saaaki ki baat karta hu to soutan bulati hai
apna dukhda rota hu to palke girati hai
maikhane me na shirkat ki wo kasme khilati hai
mere hi haathon se wo botal fudwati hai
meri mahbooba mujhe jannat me jhokti hai
itna gazab............................................ ...........

hasrat bhari nazar hai ankho ka noor hai
sheeshe ke gher me rahti hai itna zaroor hai
kitne rang dikhati hai kitne rang badalti hai
meri mahbooba mujhe dawa peene se tokti hai
itna gazab........

jab hosh me hota hu to jaam bharwati hai
kabhi gusse me hota hu to lafda karwati hai
itni kamsin hai wo dil ko jalati hai
kabhi hasati hai to kabhi rulati hai
meri mahbooba mujhe her baar tokti hai
itna gazab dhati hai peene se rokti hai
meri mahbooba......
