mere naina vicho,n hanju dul gaye,
jihde bhed see oh saare khul gaye,

dil vich base jineh armaan see sade,
ekk ekk karke mitti vich rul gaye,

karke tabah mari hasti nu oh sajan,
pal vich jaa gaira naal oh mil gaye,

kite kol teh karaar jineh vee usne,
oh kite waade o waffa vee bhul gaye,

ki hona mera tere bina puch lenda,
chad ke vichkaar saanu chal gaye,

eysa ghaat laga e mare dil te jeet,
assi seero,n leke paira tak hil gaye,
