aaj fir mari aankho ne khuwabo ki kitaab kholi hai,
                              
uska akas nazar aaya jisne hamari zindagi katto may roli hai,

sab kuch to le gayi hamara,or kiya umeed rakhti ho
                              aaj khaali hui hamari gholi hai


kiya majburi thi jo itna dur ho gayi,
                              darde tanhai may puri hasti hamari doli hai,

hum yaad na kare kabhi usey,
                         ye hamse wadda lete huye boli hai
