Do akhshar ka shabd hai chitthi
isme chhipi hai sari gutthi
chitthi chahe premika ki ho
ya phir premiman ki ho
dono ki sutradhar hai chitthi
apas mein milvati chitthi
officer ki chahe chitthi ho
ya phir uske daftar ki ho
bare bare ye kam karati
minton mein sab tay karvati
itihas desh ka ye likhvati
mahapurushon ki amulya dharohar lagti
kabhi logon ki pol khulvati
akhbar ki surkhiyon mein nam chhapvati
bofors kand ya ki ho dalali
sabke saboot yahi bechari banti
nigori bani hai keval kagaj ki
heere se bhi mulyavan lagti
khushi mein nachaye chitthi
gam mein bahut rulaye chitthi
