                              iss aab-o-hawaa me.n raahat nahin milti!
                              kisi  shaye  me.n  chaahat  nahin mlti!!

                              lage  bheed  bhi tanhaa-tanhaa si ab to!
                              mehfil me.n milne ki  aadat  nahin  milti!

                              lafz  adaa  se   piroye  hue   to  hain!
                              per  ghazal   me.n nazaakat nahin milti!

                              ba-zaahir muskuraahat kaa  jawaab nahin!
                              dil  me.n  kisi  ke sharaafat nahin milti!

                              kab  kis  per gir  pade.n ye deewaare.n!
                              ghar ko bhi jaan ki hifaazat nahin milti!

                             hai  taalim  yaaftaa  MARHOOM jahaan teraa!
                             kisi me.n insaa.n si zehaanat nahin milti!!
