Irony of weak belief.......MazHur

Once upon a time it so happened
A man armed with  a bare sword
Entered a small mosque and
Waving his weapon high in the sky asked...
Anyone who claims to be a Muslim
Must step out
There was a lull and afraid of death hanging over their heads
None stirred except a very old man
'Hey you, I am a Muslim', he proclaimed.
Okay, said the armed man and took him
 out of the mosque
Where he was told to pat his hands
On a waiting goat and recite
Some verse from the holy Quran
before sacrifice.
The old man obeyed him
Then he was told to slaughter the goat which he also did with his sword
The armed man left the old man and  waiving his blood-drenched sword
went again into the mosque
Repeating the same words he had spoken before
To the worshippers there
Surprisingly none answered nor came forward
Staring at the blood-dripping sword scared to death thinking
They wouldn't like to suffer the fate
Of that old man
Who pronounced he was a Muslim
Was taken out and butchered.
Annoyed by the response from worshippers he asked worshippers
tersely
to volunteer and come forth
Anticipating harm from the armed man
Intimidated by his countenance
At last they pointed towards their Imam, the pastor which he was their
'He is a Muslim', they shouted
'Okay man', demanded the armed man
'Come out with me at once'
Turned white with the fear of death
The Imam screamed:
O man, I am here only to make
An announcement
For a lost child!
The armed man, a Muslim too, witnessing this could only
Laugh it out
And left.
