JO GIRAH HEE NAHIN

Sahib jissey zindagi mein zuwaal hee naa huaa,
Woh aur hai kuchh kuchh kamaal bhi naa huaa!

Jo bashar ashv pe swaar hotaa giraa hee nahin,
Woh phir hazoor, ghurhh swaar bhi naa huaa!

Woh bashar ishq kee oonch neech kyaa jaaney,
Jisse mohabbat kaa kabhi wasaal hee naa huaa!

Shikwey shikaayatein to tumh kyaa jaano gey,
Tumhein baat karney kaa majaal bhi naa huaa!

Iss tabasam mein koi talakhian hee kyun hoon,
Jab unhein kisee zaat kaa khayaal hee naa huaa!

Jab unh kee nazar se nazar hee naa mil paayee,
Tab raaz jaanney kaa phir swaal hee naa huaa!

Aap yun naadam bhi kyun hotey hain sarkaar,
MohaN ko hazoor kuchh khayaal hee naa huaa!!

Zuwaal = downward slide; Tabasam = A smile;
Wasaal = enjoyment; intercourse with society;
Naadam = abashed; ashamed; Zaat = nature; kind;
