Apart from the programs you have mentioned, i used to like the inter college debate programs by Vinod Dua.

Also there used to be Krishi Darshan program, where there used to be a tau ji type guy called Lehri Singh and i forgot the name of the anchor who used to read the letters from farmers and general public.

Then there used to be a program on yoga by Swami Dhirendra Bhrahmachari. His disciple's name was Bal Mukand who was superb in demonstrating yoga asanas. The girls were very cute...he he he Winking

I used to like the news readers also:

Sarla Zariwala (my favorite, she was soooooooooooo cute)
Salma Sultan
Minu Talwar
Avinash Kaur Sareen
Gitanjali Aiyar
Komal GB Singh
Prabhjot Kaur
Tejeshwar Singh
JB Raman
Shammi Narang + few others Usual Smile

Then there were the early serials like:

Hum Log

Plus many more nostalgic memories of that era.

I remember, when it used to rain and after the sky was clear of clouds, we used to turn the TV antenna on the roof top of the house and try to tune to Lahore TV station....he he he

One or two of us would go on the roof and try to rotate the TV antenna slowly. One will scream from the roof "aa gaya" and the other will say from down, "nahi abhi nahi...thoda aur ghuma" Laughing hard

Sometimes we used to get clear transmission and sometimes not very clear.

Not to forget the cricket matches (live or highlights) NaNaNa

hahaha papa mere her waqt kehte they k hawa bahut chali to antenna ghoom jata tha and he used to go up and rotate the antenna.... aur chachaji neeche se awaaz dete they haan aa gaya pic
