Pyaar se jeena hai zindagi woh kahti thi
Par khud harkisi sey larna uski aadat thi
Woh jisko tanhai se hamesha dar lagta tha
Magar tanhai mein rehna uski aadat thi
Woh mere har sach se khush hoti thi.
Par usko hamesha jhoot bolne ki aadat thi

Lekin unko tanhaiyon mein rone ki adat thi
Woh jo har waqt kehti thi mujhe bhol jaao
Usko meri har baat yaad rakhne ki adat thi
Woh jo dil-o-jaan mujh pe nichawar kerti thi
Magar choti si bat per ruthna uski adat thi
