मेरे पीठ में खंजर उतारने से पहले मेरा इक काम कर
तेरे पिछे कोई खडा न हो इसका तू पहले इतमीनान कर

लहू जो बहेगा मेरा तो कूछ तेरे जैसा ही होगा
सुकून से सो सकेगा इसका तू पहले इंतिजाम कर

खुन कि सुर्खि मजहब से कम ज्यादा नही होती
मूझे दफ़्नाने से पहले इसका तू पहले ऐलान कर

मेरी मां को दिलासा देने जाना जरुर
आंख मिला पायेगा उस्से इसका तू पहले ऐहतिराम कर

मेरे बच्चों को मेरे मौत के बारे में मत बताना
आके कंही न लिपटें तूझ्से इसका तू पहले ऐहराम कर

'राज' दे रहा है तुझे अपने बचपन का वास्ता
कोई बच्चा बडा होने से न डरे इसका तू पहले निजाम कर

well, i would like to clarify to certain points that you have raised and also try to explain the intended inference:

ehtiraam : the protagonist in the ghazal is cautioning his friend turned foe that when he goes to meet his mother to offer his condolences, he should pay adequate respect to her eyes, thus ehtiraam= respect

ehraam : you are correct that it denotes the clothes worn while going to the holy pilgrimage but for your kindest information it also denotes certain things which one considers taboo for oneself. so in this ghazal, the protagonist is requesting his friend who has killed him to avoid his children and telling them about his death.
