Excellent job sammu! I don't agree with the above quote though. That is because if love could be unconditional on what basis would the uncondition stand? Have you ever thought about that? There has to be a basis for unconditional love and that very basis would make it CONDITIONAL! That's why there is no such thing as unconditional love. Use your commonsense my dear.

So if love is unconditional let's say for some scenario, then on what basis is that person loving? Is it not because loving in that manner brings happiness and pleasure to that person? Sure, the person might me encountering discomfort because there might be some sacrifice involved, but if this person who is sacrificing did not sacrifice then would that not make this person unhappy because it's in the sacrifice that this person achieves pleasure?

You are naturally assuming that sacrifice cannot bring pleasure, when the fact is that it does and that's the reason what you call unconditional love is there, but since pleasure is there because of sacrifice, so in my view there is no such thing as unconditional love. That is because if pleasure were not there, the sacrifice would not be there either! Get it now?

I can prove to you that I'm right. One can only love if one is loved, that's a fact and you cannot argue with that. Therefore, there can be no such thing as unconditional love.
