There is more value in a very good painting
that is completed and on display,
than in an excellent painting
that is still in the artist's studio,
or perhaps still in his mind.

Sometimes it is better to lose and do the right thing
than to win and do the wrong thing.
- Tony Blair

The truth of the matter is that
you always know the right thing to do.
The hard part is doing it.

Soul Needs Conscious Speech

Soul Sign

Soul expression requires the ability to control our speech - what we say, why we say it and the words we use.

Reflection

One of the most difficult things for most people is control of speech. Speech often arises from the subconscious and reveals emotional states. When it does that it projects onto others what is not them. It also arises from the ego, often a wounded ego.

If we say things to others that come from this hurt or wounded place it indicates that we have not healed the wound, and we have not forgiven the agent of wounding or ourselves. We have not learned and grown from the previous experience. To project this onto someone else is very selfish.

Nothing is healed through blaming and projecting. We heal when we do the inner work that results in forgiveness and love. Examine your speech when you express your emotions and notice if you can see some unhealed wounds that need your attention.
