Zindagi ki daud dhoop ne thakaya na ho.
Aisa to koi musafir nahin hai.
waqt ne jisko badla na ho,
aisi to koi soorat nahin hai..........................................

Gujar rahen hain din zinda rehne ke liye.
Koi hasrat bhi nahin koi massarat nahin hai.
AAina rakh ke aage kab dekha
Itni bhi humko fursat nahin hai.
Waqt ne jisko badla na ho
Aisi to koi soorat nahi hai....................................

Iss dil ki kismat mein thi tanhaiyan.
Tumhari to koi khata nahin hai.
Mumkin hai kuchh mile sukoon dil-e-bekaraaar ko.
Chahun jo ashaq to aankhon mein aate nahin hain.
Waqt ne jisko badla na ho
Aisi to koi soorat nahin hai....................................

Jitna kisi ka khayaal kiya utna hi malaal hua.
Sila mile har dil ko ye to zaroori nahin hai.
Zindagi ke salook kya kahiye.
Jo chahe jeena usko zindgi nahin hai.
Waqt ne jisko badla na ho.
