मुझे  ज़िन्दगी  से  लगाव  है ;
यह  डगर  ही  मेरा  पड़ाव  है !
मुझे  मत, तबीब  बता, 'अबद',
मेरे  दिल  मैं  जागता  घाव  है !

Mujhe zindagi se lagaaw hai;
Yeh dagar hi mera padaaw hai !
Mujhe mat, tabeeb bata, 'abd'
Mere dil main jaagta ghaaw hai!
