Yadoon ka bhi ajeeb dastoor hai.

Kabhi khud yaad kar lete hai,
Kabhi yaadein khud daudi chali aati hai.

Kabhi daro deewaro ko yaad kar lete hai,
Kabhi chato chaubaro ko yaad kar lete hai.

Kabhi kisse kisee mein chipi yaari ko yaad kar lete hai,
Kabhi hisse hisse mein bati yaari ko yad kar lete  hai.

Kabhi apno ke saaye mein guzre wo din yaad kar lete hai,
Kabhi apne hi sheher ke dhooo aur chaye yaad kar lete hai.

Yaadon ka bhi ajeeb dastoor hai,
Hum yaad na bhi kare,
Kambhakt phir bhi daudi chali aati hai.
