जिन्दगी की मंजिल न बदले,
हर दिन राह का आगाज़ नया हो।
गीतो-गजल सरगम न बदले,
हर इक सुर पे साज  नया हो।
शख्सीयतें अफसानों की कठपुतलियां रहें,
हर बार उनके नाच का अंदाज  नया हो।
उड ते उड ते पंछियों के पर टूट गिरें,
मगर हर रोज उनका हदूदे-परवाज  नया हो।
जख़्मे-दिल भरें कि दुखें, मगर,
पंकज मरहमे-अलफाज  नया हो।

You must meet a work requirement in adiitdon to being disabled to get Social Security Disability (SSD).  There is another program called Supplemental Security Disability Income (SSDI) which is based on need.  Your household income and resources must be under the Social Security limits. You do not need to have worked and contributed to the Social Security system. When you reach age 62, you will be eligible for a spousal benefit from your husband's work record if he is eligible for disability or retirement benefits.
