आदाब हाज़रीन

ज़रा सोच ले  दिल, लगाने  से  पहले
मुहब्बत की दुनिया में आने से पहले

जलोगे  जहाँ  को  जलाने  से  पहले  
अदावत  की  ऱाहों  में आने से पहले

छुपाने  पड़ेगे   ये   आंसू   जहाँ   से
लबों पे हसी  को  सजाने  से  पहले

किसे  दे  रहे  रौशनी  घर  जला  के
ज़रा  देख   लेना  जलाने  से  पहले

बुजुर्गों  की  बातें  सदा  याद  रखना
वो  लम्बे  सफ़र पे  यूँ जाने से पहले

मरे जा रहे  हैं वसीयत  की  खातिर
वो अर्थी  को  काँधा लगाने से पहले

ये  पर्दा  गिरा  लो  ज़रा  आईने  पे
नकाबों  में  चेहरा  छुपानें  से पहले

मैं  तन्हा  नहीं  था  कभी तीरगी  में
तेरे  अंजुमन  में  यूं  आने  से पहले

सुनाते  बहुत  हैं   मरासिम  लहू  के
बुज़ुर्गों को खाना खिलाने  से  पहले

खुदा  तेरे  दिल  में  कहाँ  ढ़ूँढता  है
ज़रा  ढूँढना  दूर   जाने   से   पहले

दरीचों  के  बारे   ज़रा   सोच  लेना
तमस में नया  घर  बनाने  से  पहले

दहकते  समंदर  मिले  'आरज़ू '  को
गले  से  ये  मंज़िल  लगाने से पहले
