I got up to a still morning.
Everything so quiet that I could hear my heart beat

Slowly made my way to the window
Sliding the window open, I stood watching

Far away a brilliant moon
Sparkling stars which would disappear soon

A whiff of cold breeze that blew my hair
Caught me unaware-the morning chill air

I inhaled it and felt so light
The pleasant clean air which we may soon lose sight

Day light broke soon
Giving the day its glow

Rustle of the fallen leaves on the ground
Birds chirping happily and flying around

I smiled to myself and started my day
Filled with energy, I then made my way.
