A hindu and a muslim meet in the dark near the tree
Searching for their loved ones, gone hours long now
The distrust and blame on their faces plain to see
Maybe he is the culprit says a voice, you shall soon see
The distant webs of hatred in their dark memories
Bred from their leaders their minds had long agreed

Hark! now the voices of their loved ones come to be
A sigh and a relief on their faces now clear to see
Gone was the hatred in their voices as you see
How they hid their guilt, in smiling faces and laughter

That night neither wanted their loved one’s to get
caught in their leaders web of hatred of yonder

They say its true that new religions are often born
In the darkness near the tree

Abul Asad saheb. The poem is a beautiful depiction of our mindset, often biased and poisoned by our so called leaders, which makes us doubt our brothers; but the minds ,being pure from inside, gain  sanity before any further damage while at the same time exposing true colours of the mischief mongers.Congrats for such a nice poem.Hasan
