hum khud ko parwaanaa samajh
har baar chiraag me haath jalaate rahe
aur woh paani se aag bujhaane ke liye
har baar humi ko rulaate rahe

kee koshish unhone duur jaane ki
aur hum unke aur kareeb jaate rahe
aaye naa milne ek bhi baar humse
par har baar banke yaad wo aate rahe

na samjhenge wo kabhi hamaare dard ko,
ki hum kitnaa tadapte hain
bheegte rahe barsaat me aur usi me
apne aansuon ko chhipaate rahe

shayad achcha lagta hai unhe ye dekh
ki koi tadpe unke pyaar mein
yahi wajah hai wo duur reh ke humse
humein is tarhaa sataate rahe

hum karte rahe yaad unhe subah se shaam,
aur wo hume bhulaate rahe
karke bewafaai,
meri bewafaai ke kisse mehfilon me wo sunaate rahe

kiyaa waadaa mujhse saath nibhaane ka umra bhar
aur bhool gaye wo
na kar sake hum bewafaai
aur unse kiye har kasam ko nibhaate rahe.

kiyaa waadaa mujhse saath nibhaane ka umra bhar aur bhool gaye wo na kar sake hum bewafaai aur unse kiye har kasam ko nibhaate rahe.

kya baat hai Applause

pyar karne vaale, ishq kabhee bhulaate naheeN
julm sahte jaate haiN saamne kuch jataate naheeN
bewafaai ka injaam manju pe kyo aata hai
log ungliya laila pe kyoN uthaate naheeN
