These shers are taken from Ahmad Faraz's ghazal....This is one of the most beautiful poetry about "husn" that I have ever read....!!!!

sunaa hai bole to baatoN se phuul jhhaRte haiN
ye baat hai to chalo baat kar ke dekhte haiN

sunaa hai raat use chaaNd taktaa rahtaa hai
sitaare baam-e-falak se utar kar dekhte haiN

(baam-e-falak : terrace of the horizon)

sunaa hai hashr haiN us kii Gazaal sii aaNkheN
sunaa hai us ko hiran dasht bhar ke dekhte haiN

sunaa hai din ko use titaliyaaN sataatii haiN
sunaa hai raat ko jugnuu Thaher ke dekhte haiN

sunaa hai raat se baRh kar haiN kaakuleN us kii
sunaa hai shaam ko saaye guzar ke dekhte haiN

(kaakul : tresses)

sunaa hai us kii siyaah chashmagii qayaamat hai
so us ko surmaafarosh aah bhar ke dekhte haiN

(surmaafarosh : kohl vendors)

sunaa hai us ke laboN se gulaab jalte haiN
so ham bahaar par ilzaam dhar ke dekhte haiN

sunaa hai aa’iinaa tamsaal hai jabiiN uskii
jo saadaa dil haiN ban saNvar ke dekhte haiN

sunaa hai jab se hamaail haiN us kii gardan meN
mizaaj aur hii laal-o-gauhar ke dekhte haiN

(hamaail : something to wear around the neck)

sunaa hai chashm-e-tasavvur se dasht-e-imkaan meN
palang zaave (?) us kii kamar ke dekhte haiN

(chashm-e-tasavvur : eyes of imagination)

sunaa hai us ke badan ke taraash aise haiN
ke phuul apanii qabaayeN katar ke dekhte haiN

(qabaayeN : tunic)

vo sarv-qad hai magar be-gul-e-muraad nahiiN
ke us shajar pe shaguufe samar ke dekhte haiN

(sarv-qad : tall and graceful; shaguufe : bud; samar : fruit)

bas ek nigaah se luTataa hai qaafilaa dil kaa
so rah-ravaan-e-tamannaa bhii Dar ke dekhte haiN

(rah-ravaa.N : travellers)

sunaa hai us ke shabistaan se muttasil hai bahisht
makiiN udhar ke bhii jalve idhar ke dekhte haiN

(shabistan : bedroom; muttasil : near; makiin : tenant)

ruke to gardisheN us kaa tavaaf kartii haiN
chale to us ko zamaane Thaher ke dekhte haiN

(gardish : time)

kise nasiib ke be-pairahan use dekhe
kabhii kabhii dar-o-diivaar ghar ke dekhte haiN

(be-pairahan : without clothes)

kahaaniyaaN hii sahii sab mubaalaGe hii sahii
agar vo Khvaab hai taabiir kar ke dekhte haiN

(mubaalaGe : beyond one’s limits)

ab us ke shahar meN ThahareN ki kuuch kar jaayeN
“Faraz” aao sitaare safar ke dekhte haiN
