rat nay jalti tanhaee main
undhyaron kay jaal bunay thay
dewaron per tareeki ki gerd jami thee
khushboon ka ihsas faza main toot raha tha
gher aangan khamoshi orhay jag raha tha
derwazay banhain pehlayay oong rahay thay
door samundar par hawain badlon say batin kerti thin
aisay main ik need ka jhonka
leher bana or guzer gaya
phir aankh khuli to
is moosum ki pehli barish
or tairi yadain
dono mil ker
toot ker bersin
