Mai ashqo ka daria hu tu mujhe chah nahi sakta,
Jise dunia ki parwah ho wo mujhko pa nahi sakta,

Mari jaan lakh chaho magar mai shingaar ban nahi sakta,
Mai tuta ek moti hu mai mala ban nahi sakta,

Dil mai lakh jangeh ho mare liye aye jaane jaana,
Magar mai tere nigaho ka sitara ban nahi sakta,

Tu chalija dur kitna bhi aye jaane jaa,
Ye bhi sach hai ke mai apna wada kabhi tod nahi sakta..........
