Husn ka raaz mere dil pe ager khul jaye
tu mere dil se jihalat ka asar dhul jaye

Wo jo aa jaye mere gher, tu mai.N bister se uthoo.N
mere tun se ye udasi, ye tasahul jaye!

Ye tu soota he nahi.N laakh sulaya is ko
Tum sula dekho , kahi.N tum se ager 'Sul' jaye?

us ki annkhain hai.N ke jaise koi saghar gehri
aur abro ! jaise saghar se koi pul jaye

Lakh sochoo.N ke karoo.N sabr mager kiya hasil!
Yaad wo aaye tu sab dil se tahummul jaye

Jaan de ker he kharede , tu khareede koi!
Tu wo mooti he bazaar se 'unmul ' Jaye

Dekh le ger tere chehre ko muqabil gule
aah-o-faryaad bhi kerne se wo bulbul jaye

Ham ko rehna he yahai.N , sir ko patakna he yahee.N
Jis ko kaa'be se muhabbat ho wo bilkul jaye

Mai.N bhi manoo.N he khuda halat-e-dil se wwaqif!
door ger dil se sanam ke jo taghaful jaye
