When I was very young
I used to call your name
and you came.
As time went on
I no longer needed you.
Now I do!
Where are you?
Where are you
when the darkness
smothers me?
When the thunder
shakes the night.
Or the night
hides the light.
I long for the days of innocence
lost in a world of make believe.
Riding on butterfly wings
or sailing on a sailing ship.
Guided by the magic of Star Bright.
Oh how I long for the days of innocence.
