Nazm : Ishq
Ishq hi hey bandagi, ishq hi dharm aatma
ishq hi hey ibtada aur ishq hi hey khatma!

jis ke koi had nahin wo bekaran sehra he ye
ishq ki manzil ke raahi, ishq he sabr aazma

ishq ke taqat ke aage koi bhi taqat nahin
ishq ke sael ko dast e ghair ki hajat nahin

wasl ki lazzat se barh ke koi bhi lazzat nahin
hijr ki wehshat ke aage koi bhi wehshat nahin!

ishq he hey zindagi, ishq hi hey raasta
ishq he qanoon e dunya, ishq hi hey zaabta

ger na hoti bekasi main lazzat e paiham raseed
aag ke shooloon pe aashiq kyoon khushi se naachta?

ger nahin he koi manzil aur koi chara nahin
aur dil ke aasmaan pe koi bhi tara nahin

Ishq ke raste pe aao, ishq ki janab barho
zindagi bekaar he ger ishq ka yaara nahin!

koon he jo dil lagae ma siwa e ishq kay
marz e dil jaata nahin he bin dawa e ishq ky

zindagi be kaif he , jab tak na dil pe aadmi
bekhudi o sirkhushi se zakhm khae ishq ke
