For the mystic lover who’s
Intoxicated by the wine of
Mystical union with the
Beloved in his or her faith –
Muslims’ House of Allah and
Hindus’ Temple of God’s
Idols are the same.”

Ram-o-Rahim tumh khuda ke pyaaro
Jab usskaa naam hee liye man naacho tihaaro
Hindu bhaaio tumh chaahe Button hee ke paaun choomo
Aur Muslim bhaaio tumh chaahe bas Kaaba hee choomo
Hain to Butt-o-Kaaba donon pathar maan hee banaayo
Kehat bhagat hazrat Rumi khoob hee naacho gaao...
Uss ek khuda daata kaa bas naam liye sab jhoomo
