kabhee to samjhegi meri baato,n  ko dil se,
ho saka to lagaayegi meri yaadon ko dil se,

saba ke hath patte par likh  paigaam bejaa,
mahsoos kar lena unn  alfaazo,n  ko dil se,

gar kahee kisi mod hamara aamna  saamna ho,
sanjo lena  unn hasee,n  palo,n  ko dil se,

izhaar e ishq karna  kisi  din tumko sanam,
kabool kar lena tum bhi mohhobat ko dil se,

raat chandni main tera didaar karu ye arju,
kahi bujh na jaye bachana shamma ko dil se,

aage bhadkar hath  thaam  loo,n gar tumara,
tum bhi nibha dena sabhi wachnon ko dil se,
