Mein Aur Meri Bewafaai…

Falak*aur samandar ke milan ufaaqon*main dekhne ko mila
Suraj aur chaand ko gale lagaate houe kissko dekhne ko mila

Tera mera milna jeisse ek dariye ke do kinaaron ka milna tha
Raftaar-e leher main mujhe ek pyaar ke lash bahaane ko mila

Apni hi wafaaon ke badle mujh kaafir se tamanna aur kya thi
Kayi muddatton ke baad tere masoom dil doukhaane ko mila

Jane keissi tishnagi*thi jo aab-e hayaat*pikar bhi anboujh rahi
Isse boujhane ko aakhir teri hi neer-e ishq*jazb karne*ko mila

Yahan harjaai shayad hi hai koyi, ishq pe marne wale hein sabhi
Meherbani hai meri jo aapko ek deedaar-e bewafaa karne ko mila

Iss bhari mehfil main chahe wah wah mile ya na mile “Amanush”
Tujhe apne hi naam-e bewafaai par kouch shayri likhne ko mila

Falak: Sky
Ufaaqon: Horizons
Tishnagi: Thirst
Aab-e hayaat: Nectar
Neer-e ishq: Tears of love
Jazb karna :To drink

Kissi ko ghar se nikalte hi apni manzil mil gayi
Koyi amari tarah hi umar bhar safar main rahi hogi …

Amanush…
