kuch toh duniyan ki inayaat na rone na diya
Aur kuch talkhiye haalaat ne rone na diya,

hum to samjhe tha bahaar banke aaye hai khushi
mili khushi toh humein khusi ne bhi rone na diya ,

Sitaro ki tarha purnooor thi kismat apni
Bewafa chand ne usko bhi chamakne na diya ,

Saahil se bhatka huwa woh anjaan musafir hoon
Jisko lehro ne kabhi manzil se milne na diya ..(NM)
