Saal beetay dil se mere jaa na paaye tum
shaam kii tanhaaii mein phir yaad aaye tum

Har subah paayaa tumhein khayaalon mein apne paas
Raaton ko aa khwaabon mein mere muskaraaye tum

Lagate ho mere apne jab tum jaa base ho door
Naa jaane kyon lagate the pahle kucch paraaye tum

Pyaar hum se be-hisaab thaa tumhein phir bhi
jaane kyon hum se rahe nazarein churaaye tum

Jab talaq tum saath the shikawe bhi saath the
kucch nahin ho ab mohabbat ke siwaaye tum

Thak gayaa Hai zindagi ki raah mein "Ye shayar"
kaash mil jaate kahiin nazrein bichhaye tum
